This course provides participants working on the design and implementation of sanctions (and related areas, including counterterrorism regulations and export controls) with a detailed understanding of humanitarian considerations. It is designed for sanctions practitioners working in governments and international organisations.

This workshop is hands on. We make use of a variety of teaching tools, including case studies, practical examples, group exercises and interaction with experienced practitioners and experts. Participants who successfully complete the workshop will receive a certificate of participation and access to reading lists. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
